About the project

For the love of reading.

Launched in 2019 by Emily Swiggett, Read More Books Project grew from a simple desire to encourage more reading in everyday life.

The goal was to create something easy to wear, easy to share, and quietly persuasive. The result: minimalist gear with a clear message: Read More Books.

Initially made for friends, the pieces quickly found a wider audience as more people connected with the message and wanted to help spread it.

At its core, Read More Books Project is both a reminder and a movement; encouraging more presence, deeper focus, and a renewed imagination through the wide-reaching benefits of reading.

A portion of all proceeds is donated to nonprofit organizations that support children’s literacy and improve access to books in underserved communities.
